I went down today because I need to get a copy of some Sherlock Holmes short stories and they are already preparing for closing at the end of January. Books that are already marked down are marked down an additional 40% which means that Sherlock Holmes collection is not the only thing I walked out with.
In addition to The Complete Sherlock Holmes Vol. 1, by Arthur Conan Doyle, I bought:
I had to break a twenty to get all of these.
As much as I am sad to see Barnes & Noble go, I will probably be really helpful for me not to have a book store, right downstairs. Now the closest bookstore will be Borders - a whole 6 blocks away. :-)
